>>> 5.07.06 - Chili Century - Clermont County, Ohio

Description: Century ride in Clermont County Ohio, flat and rolling
When: May 7, 2006
Distance: 109 Miles
Information: Cincinnati Bicycle Club

Review: This is by far the most fun century ride I have done yet. It was early in the season for me, but I had a pretty good base going.

I rode with Charlie Klahm and Michael Bailey among 5 other riders that were in our group. This ride is a perfect early season or first time century. There are only a couple of minor climbs but pretty much the whole ride is flowing rollers and flat. Miles of rural farm roads with light traffic and the sags were well managed. The route was well marked but we somehow took a wrong turn and ended up with 109 miles total. Whoops!

We knocked out the century in about 5 hours and 38 minutes. Not bad for some weekenders. The whole ride was well organized and I can't wait for next year.
